Saudi Arabia Voices Concern Over Rising Tensions Following U.S. Strikes on Iran’s Nuclear Facilities
Saudi Arabia has voiced strong concern over the intensifying situation in Iran, particularly in light of recent U.S. airstrikes targeting Iranian nuclear infrastructure.
In a statement released on Sunday, the Kingdom reiterated its stance against any actions that compromise Iran’s sovereignty. This aligns with its previously stated position on June 13, 2025, when it condemned the attacks as violations of international principles and urged for immediate measures to de-escalate the crisis.
The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs underscored the need for all parties to exercise caution and self-restraint, emphasizing that efforts must be directed toward preserving peace and security in the region.
Riyadh also called on the global community to strengthen diplomatic engagement during this volatile time to help bring about a peaceful and political resolution to the conflict.
The Kingdom stressed that diplomacy and restraint are critical to ensuring a stable future for the Middle East and avoiding the risks of a broader confrontation.
This statement was issued amid growing fears of escalating conflict in the region following the U.S. military’s strikes on Iranian nuclear sites, which have drawn international attention and concern.
